Bitcoin Depot plans to install pavilions in many places in Circle K, Coindesk reported. The idea to open in these stores is that the brand is widespread and has customers from all walks of life.

South Korea

Cointelegraph reported that in South Korea, crypto exchanges will face penalties if they do not register voluntarily by September 24. Stock exchanges that continue to operate without registration should face a fine of approximately $43,500 USD or five years in prison. This announcement is the latest in a series of provisions on cryptocurrency.


The first blockchain bond was issued in Colombia by the Central Bank of Colombia, IDB Group and Banco Davivienda, Coindesk reported. The Banco de la República forecasts that it will test whether the pilot program "seeks to test the benefits of this new technology". The money from the pilot program will be processed by the payment system of the Central Bank of Colombia, which will monitor the development of the blockchain network.


Coindesk said the Reserve Bank of India is considering a series of pilot programs for the central bank's proposed digital currency.
